Terms of Service
By creating an account or using ArcSim, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
1. The service
ArcSim is an online education platform: a cybersecurity sales (BDR) boot camp with lessons, an AI coach, AI roleplay practice, AI mock interviews, and a certification exam and credential. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You're responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your password secure, and for all activity under your account. One account is for one person; accounts may not be shared.
3. Payments, pricing & refunds
- Course: a one-time fee of $999 for full access to all modules and the AI features.
- Certification exam: a one-time fee of $199. Exam access requires completing the $299 course — completing the course issues you a code to unlock the exam.
- Mock interview packs and any other add-ons are priced as shown at purchase.
- Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details.
- Prices are in USD and exclusive of taxes unless stated; you're responsible for applicable taxes.
- Refunds:[STATE YOUR POLICY — e.g., “We offer a 14-day refund on the course if you have completed no more than [X]% of it. Exam fees and used mock-interview credits are non-refundable.”] Finalize this with counsel and reflect it accurately in Stripe.
4. License to use the content
We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access the course content and features for your own learning. You may not share, resell, redistribute, record, scrape, or publicly post the content, lessons, exam questions, or AI outputs, or use them to build a competing product.
5. Certification
A credential is awarded only when you pass both the certification exam and the required cert-level mock interview. Credentials are issued and verified by us and remain our property. We may suspend or revoke a credential obtained through fraud, cheating, or violation of these Terms. A credential is a recognition of demonstrated knowledge and readiness — it is not a guarantee of employment, income, or any specific outcome.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: cheat on assessments; share, capture, or distribute exam content; misuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract data from the AI features or the platform; use the service unlawfully; or infringe others' rights. We may suspend accounts that violate this section.
7. AI features
The AI coach, roleplay, and mock-interview features are automated tools that can be imperfect and may produce inaccurate or incomplete output. They are for practice and education only and are not professional, career, legal, financial, or security advice. Use judgment; verify anything important.
8. Intellectual property
ArcSim and its content, branding, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of the content you submit (e.g., your answers and practice inputs); you grant us a license to process it to operate and improve the service, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will lead to any particular result, job, or income.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ArcSim and Arcscaler will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. [Counsel to finalize.]
11. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or for legal/security reasons. Some sections survive termination (IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability).
12. Changes
We may update these Terms; we'll post the new effective date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
13. Governing law & disputes
